Praise the Lord, all you nations;
extol Him, all you peoples.
For great is His love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord.
This is the shortest of the Psalms, and though scholars offer a variety of reasons for this, it seems clear to me that it’s short because it says it all it needs to say: God’s love is great and His faithfulness is unchanging. For this, we must praise Him. Can there be any other response?
